The RevPi Connect 4 is – as the name suggests – equipped with the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 with up to 8 GB RAM, up to 32 GB eMMC storage and optional WLAN. But the Compute Module 4 is not the only new feature of the latest RevPi Connect. The Connect has been equipped with two PiBridges for the first time, which allows the system to be expanded with up to ten IO modules. The device now has two Gigabit Ethernet, as well as two USB 3.2 Gen1 interfaces. The Real-Time Clock is no longer buffered via a capacitor as in its predecessors, but via an integrated battery. Of the six RGB LEDs mounted on the front, five are now freely available and can be individually programmed (e.g. for signaling states or status). On the software side, the new RevPi Connect 4 again comes with a Raspberry Pi OS customized by us.
